Yoga @ Wishful Acres, limited Coffee Stout & Alderaan IPA are Back, plus more Brew & Farm News!

First off, a SUPER HUGE THANK YOU to everyone for packing our brewery to celebrate our 1-year anniversary all last weekend!  Wow, we've been so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support!  We've had such a great 1st year with our brewery (and a great 9th year with our farm)!  We want to thank each & every one of you for your support - without all of you none of this would be possible!  Cheers!!!  This Sunday at 11:00 am, there will be a Free community yoga class held here at WIshful Acres, outdoors in our beautiful orchard & garden areas!  Taught by Laura Youngblut, this class will be introductory-level, so it's great for everyone, even if you have no prior yoga experience.  After the class, stop in to our brewery for a cold one to refresh yourselves!  :)  In Farm News, this week Group A of the half-CSA members, and the full-CSA members, you can pick up your shares anytime during our open hours this weekend!   Scroll down for your veggie list this week! Visit our Taproom & Store!!!  Now Open - Fridays 4-9 pm, Saturdays 12-9 pm, and Sundays 12-5 pm - visit our web site for location, directions, and more: www.WishfulAcresFarm.com.    Tap Room & Store In our Tap Room this weekend, open Fridays 4-9 pm, Saturdays 12-9 pm, and Sundays 12-5 pm, we will be pouring fresh from our taps: Coffee Stout & Stoutzilla - we have 1 keg left of our Coffee Stout, so that will be on tap starting Friday, until it runs out, then Stoutzilla will replace it.  Wow, we're nearly out of Vladimir, our Russian Imperial Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout, so we've decided to put that one back in storage for a few weeks, and pull the remainder out again next month (maybe at Thanksgiving time)! Alderaan IPA - one of our favorite IPAs is BACK!  Nate has brewed Alderaan again. Lemonhead - mild wheat beer brewed with Lemonheads candy Peach Mango Ale - mild fruit beer Jack-O-Java - Pumpkin Coffee Spice Ale - this is the new batch, we already ran out of batch #1, so this is the 2nd and final batch of Jack-O-Java. Unicorn Tears - Our unique copper-colored ale. Honey Wheat Ale - Mild & very drinkable Homemade Root Beer (non-alcoholic) In addition to fresh beer by the glass, we also have growler fills available for carry-out!   Free Community Outdoor Yoga!!! Join instructor Laura Younblut here at Wishful Acres for her free community yoga class, this Sunday, October 8 at 11:00.  The class will be held outdoors in our orchard & garden areas.  Stop in to our taproom afterwards to refresh with a cold one!  :) Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) News CSA farm members, you may pick up your vegetables anytime during our open hours this weekend, Friday 4-9, Saturday 12-9, Sunday 12-5.  In this week's veggie share: Pumpkin - "Amish sugar pie pumpkin" variety, great for cooking with Winter Squash - 2 "Delicata" winter squash, aka "Sweet Potato Squash" Mustard Greens - southern curled, great sauteed with bacon! Radishes - German Giant variety of red radishes, green tops included (also edible) Spicy Asian Greens Mix - a mixture of red & green Asian greens - great for salads or stir fry. Arugula - Italian salad green with a delicious peppery flavor Komatsuna - Another Asian Green Vegetable variety - big sized, full head.  This variety looks similar to Bok Choy (you'll also receive bok choy coming up this fall), but the flavor is slightly different - the flavor of this veggie is like a cross between an Asian Green Veggie and American-type Celery (especially the crunchy stems).
