Apple Ale, Galahad, and Belgian Dreams return! Your weekly Wishful Acres Brew & Farm News!

Stop out to try our new fruit beer, Apple Ale!  A sweeter-style ale made with real apple, it tastes like a fall trip to the apple orchard!  Also, fans of our brown English Mild Ale "Galahad" can rejoice - the knight has returned on tap!  Lastly, Belgian Dreams will return on tap this weekend.  Scroll down for the rest of our "on tap" selection for this weekend! In Farm News, this week Group A of the half-CSA members, and the full-CSA members, you can pick up your shares anytime during our open hours this weekend!   Also in Farm News this week, our fall spinach & lettuce crops are looking bleak so far.... the deer have been grazing more this year than in any year past.  Hopefully the late season crop recently planted in the protected greenhouse will provide some of those favorite salad greens later this season.  However, your shares are still chock full with other veggies!!! - scroll down for the entire list.   P.S. Jack-O-Java - Pumpkin Coffee Spice Ale made with pumpkins grown on our farm Unicorn Tears - Our unique copper-colored ale. Honey Wheat Ale - Mild & very drinkable Homemade Root Beer (non-alcoholic) In addition to fresh beer by the glass, we also have growler fills available for carry-out!   Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) News CSA farm members, you may pick up your vegetables anytime during our open hours this weekend, Friday 4-9, Saturday 12-9, Sunday 12-5.  In this week's veggie share: Pumpkin - "Amish sugar pie pumpkin" variety, great for cooking with Butternut Winter Squash - try butternut squash soup, it's delicious! Kale Eggplant - slender Asian variety Radishes - German Giant variety of red radishes, green tops included (also edible) Spicy Asian Greens Mix - a mixture of red & green Asian greens - great for salads or stir fry.
