Brew & Farm news: NEW Mocha Coffee Stout, Greenhouse Salad greens, and more!

The pickup schedule for the Winter CSA is changing slightly!  Rather than a Thursday pickup during a 2-hour window, members will be able to pick up their microgreens shares on their assigned weekend (pickup is every other weekend), anytime during our open hours!  Beginning in mid-December, we'll be adding some Friday hours in addition to our Saturday hours (the Thursday members-only time will be removed), and you'll be able to arrive anytime during our open hours for your "share"!  We will have your greens in refrigerated storage, and will simply pull them out for you whenever you choose to arrive.   CSA Member Share News CSA Members, the full shareholders & Group A half-shareholders are scheduled for pickup here at the farm today (Thursday) between 3:30-5:30.  Group A half-share members, this is your final share of the season (where did the time go?!).  Don't forget, root vegetables will store just fine for many weeks in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator (keep them inside the plastic bags we package them in).  This week you'll receive: Lettuce (fresh from our greenhouse) Rutabaga  Turnips Black Radishes (best eaten very thinly sliced or grated, have many health benefits!)
