Winter still has me craving warm comfort foods. This week I plan on making a big batch of Buffalo Chicken Soup (click for my recipe).
Also on the lineup is a delicious egg fritatta. If you haven't made a fritatta before, let me reassure you. It's very simple to cook, healthy, and you can use almost any ingredients you have on hand. I love to use leftovers in a fritatta; it's a great way to avoid wasting them. If you have the time, check out my fritatta recipe.
During my anniversary trip last Saturday, I finally made it to my favorite Amish bulk foods store to stock up on yeast and whole wheat flour. I hope to celebrate with a loaf of homemade bread. Perhaps I'll make a loaf of Whole Wheat Bread for my family enjoy with my easy Alfredo Sauce. This sauce is so easy to make; don't be intimidated!
Hope you enjoy my recipes for the week. If you haven't entered this week's giveaway for the Handcraft Seed Bookmarks, you still have time - the contest is open until this Friday.
I'll be spending today sitting in jury duty, hopefully getting a lot of reading done while I sit! :-)
