The weather forecast looks absolutely beautiful for this weekend! Stop out to enjoy a beer, indoors or outdoors!
Overcast, our German-style Hefeweizen, has returned! We last brewed this beer well over a year ago, so we're happy to see it back again! This beer is a traditional Hefeweizen, heavy on the yeast, and you'll pick up flavors like banana, clove, and coriander.
Farm CSA Members: Group A half-share members and Full Share members, you are scheduled to pickup your organic vegetable shares this weekend. Scroll down for details on this week's CSA items.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Member News
Our recipe database contains cooking ideas for all the vegetables we grow - link here. Farm CSA Members: In your share of organic items this week:
Cucumbers - The first cucumbers of the season! You'll see 3 nice cucumbers in each of your shares. If things continue like they have been, it looks like we might experience a huge bumper crop of cucumbers this year! We haven't seen cucumbers grow this well in at least the past 3 years, so with luck we can look forward to a lot of them this season!
Green Beans- This is the first harvest of green beans this season! Enjoy them boiled, roasted, however you prefer! A nice sized bag in your share to enjoy.
Broccoli - First of the broccoli for the season! A nice sized bag for each of you to enjoy - raw, roasted, steamed, however you enjoy your broccoli!
Green Pepper - The first small harvest of sweet green peppers. You'll see just one in your share, as the harvest always starts small, but it will increase in amount as we head further into the season!
Savoy Cabbage - Savoy is a wrinkled leaf heirloom variety that originated in Europe hundreds of years ago. Considered a specialty gourmet variety of cabbage, you can use it just like regular cabbage. We've rinsed the whole cabbage on the outside, but you may need to rinse again as you take the leaves apart for cooking.
Australian Yellowleaf Lettuce - This heirloom variety of lettuce originates in Australia! This lettuce tolerates hot weather better than most, which is why we're able to provide lettuce in your shares this time of year!
Zucchini - You'll see at least 2 varieties in your bag, and each bag contains several zucchini. The lighter green is our favorite, it's a Middle Eastern variety of zucchini. You'll also see the traditional dark green zucchini.
Radishes - Last of the radishes until fall! This variety is "Easter Egg", which is a medley of colors. You'll see pink, white, red, and purple radishes in your bag.
Sugar Snap Peas- This is the last of the sugar snap peas of the season!
Garlic Scapes - Garlic Scapes are a gourmet treat! These are the top of the garlic plant, and can be eaten just like garlic and onions. See our recipe database (link below).
Our 30-member CSA Program (Community Supported Agriculture) is a membership program in which members become "shareholders" in the farm's seasonal vegetable production & receive a "share" of the farm's organic produce for our full 22-week-long season!
