New Beer (3 Brewery Collaboration!), Father's Day Grill Out, plus more Brew & Farm News!

The time is here!!! We're releasing the Collaboration I.P.A. that we brewed with our friends at Pigs Mind Brewing & Generations Brewing!  This 3-Brewery collaboration Amber I.P.A. weighs in at 7.5% ABV and nearly 90 IBUs (yes, it's strong AND hoppy), this beer will make I.P.A. lovers smile.  We'll be tapping this Collaboration I.PA. on Friday at 4:00, but we have plenty of kegs so with any luck we'll be able to offer it on tap for a few weeks.  This Sunday, Father's Day, is our next Beer & Brats Grill Out!  Join us June 18 from 12-5 pm!  We'll be firing up our grill for locally-made Beer Brats (raised by local farmers & made at AJ's Lena Maid Meats right around the corner in Lena!) or premium jumbo all-beef hot dogs, served with Mrs. Mike's chips, either option for $4.99.  Add your own condiments: sauerkraut, onions, relish, ketchup, and various mustards. Bring Dad out for this Father's Day cookout!     In Farm News, this week Group A of the half-CSA members, and the Full Share members, you can pick up your shares anytime during our open hours this weekend (scroll down for a list of items in your share this week)!  CSA Members, as part of your membership we offer you free u-pick fruit from our farm when in season.  Our Mulberry trees are beginning to ripen with lots of mulberries!  Those CSA Members wishing to pick mulberries from the many mulberry trees scattered throughout our farm, just let us know when you're here to pick up your share.  With any luck, we should have mulberries ripe & available for CSA members to pick for the next few weeks. Last in farm news, we will have a small amount of  Spring Lettuce Mix available for purchase in our taproom & store this weekend, as well as a few bags of Sugar Snap Peas. Red Lettuce - oak leaf variety Dill - fresh dill for your dips, sandwiches, egg dishes Romaine lettuce - a loose leaf green Romaine variety Cilantro - great for tacos & taco salads 3 Lettuce mix - red, green, dark green - a pretty blend! Garlic Scapes - the top portion of the garlic plant - tender stalks full of garlic flavor - use in place of garlic or onions in any recipe! Tender Green Spring Lettuce - delicate light green spring lettuce Radishes - "Easter Egg" Variety - a pretty blend of many colors of round radishes - pink, red purple, and white, like a bunch of colored Easter eggs!
