News from the Farm & BreweryIn brewery news, we will be opening our taproom very soon!  Make sure to stay tuned to this newsletter, our web site (www.WishfulAcresFarm.com), and our facebook page for updates! Our web site has been updated with all the information about our brewery, be sure to check it out. What will our taproom feature?  We will have at least 6 of our handcrafted beers on tap at all times, in addition to our homemade root beer & more.  Our taproom will be open on Saturdays once we open, and customers can sit & enjoy a pint of our fresh craft beer, a sampler flight, and more!  Carry-out beer will be available in the form of growler fills and bottled beer.  We will also sell a small amount of our farm's organic vegetables inside the taproom's retail store.  We brew all of our beer right here on site with our own handcrafted recipes, and many of our beers are made with ingredients grown right here on our farm!  In the meantime, you can get an early taste of our artisan craft beers this Saturday, September 24, at the Pretzel City Brewfest in downtown Freeport, IL!  If you're a BIG craft beer fan, check out the "Beer Share" program that we'll be offering - this CSB Program (Community Supported Brewery) offers big benefits for members along with your pre-paid growler fills - more info here on the Beer Shares.In farm news, the fall crops have begun filling the CSA shares!  The beautiful Asian Greens, arugula, lettuces, and more are thriving with all of the lovely rain we've had.  This week, our passive-solar-heated-greenhouse will be planted with even more salad greens, to feed our customers through December!  As you read above, our taproom & retail store will be opening soon.  We will offer a small amount of our farm's USDA Certified Organic vegetables for sale inside our store once we open.  The majority of our vegetables will still be used to fill our CSA shares, but there will be some veggies available in our store available (especially leafy greens!).  Have you always wanted to see our farm?  With our new brewery expansion, we will be offering Farm & Brewery Tours - read more about it here. A sneak peek at our bottles!  All of our graphic design work is done right here by us! CSA Share from mid-September.   A few of our Tap Handles!  We will feature at least 6 of our beers on tap inside our taproom.
