Winter greenhouses going up!

Busy on the farm today... the greenhouses are going up over a portion of the winter garden.

Last year, we & our customers enjoyed salad greens all winter long with the help of our mini-greenhouses. They are heated not with fossil fuels, but by passive solar. Working with nature!

The greenhouse plastic will probably go on within the next few days. I'm a bit late getting this done this year, but hoping to have it done just in the nick of time. We've already had low temperatures in the upper teens on several nights!
