Rooster friend

Although I hadn't planned on having a rooster, he is growing on me. I love hearing his crow all day (luckily we can't hear it from inside the house very well). It lends a very true "farm sound" to our farm.

I do think he is growing up to be a very beautiful rooster. His tail feathers are a blue-green color.

Although I ordered 50 day-old hens last spring, I am glad one ended up being a rooster.
