Strawberry season is officially here in my neck of the woods.
There is a local U-pick berry farm nearby - last week I headed out and assisted by my mom and 7 year-old we picked about 30 pounds. My 4 year-old helped wash & stem, then he bagged half of them by himself! They were in the freezer by nightfall.
I use them all winter in smoothies and more.
