Cherries!

There is nothing better than fresh Montmorency cherries picked fresh from the tree.  They are tart, but my 4 year-old and I will eat them straight up!  We made a pie as well.  Our drawf cherry tree doesn't produce a lot, but it gives us a nice taste.

I like to pit & freeze the cherries to use all winter.  Usually, there are a few very kind souls who let me pick from their full-size trees.
