Recipe: Heirloom Tomato Salad


Heirloom Tomato Salad
Various heirloom tomatoes, sliced into halves (if cherry tomatoes) or wedges if larger
Fresh basil, chopped
Extra-virgin olive oil
Balsamic Vinegar (optional)
Sharp-tasting cheese, such as Romano or Parmesan
Salt & Pepper

Slice tomatoes, combine with basil. Gently stir in olive oil & balsamic vinegar (optional) and shredded cheese.
Season to taste with a bit of salt & pepper.
Top with a sprinkling of cheese & a bit more fresh basil.
