First tomato blossoms spotted June 10. Almost all the "Silvery Fir Tree" heirloom varieties are blossoming. I specifically picked these seeds for their earliness, and they're not letting me down!
Soon I'll have to run to the library for the book "First Tomato Soup" by Rosemary Wells. It's a tradition I started by reading this book to my boys as the first tomatoes ripen.
