The tomato and pepper plants I raised from tiny seeds have survived!


Recently, my boys (sons and husband) helped me move them all to the mud room to harden them off.
It's important for the plants to get used to a bit of colder temperatures and wind for a couple of weeks before they go into the garden.


I'm so proud of how they grew! It was a group effort, really. My husband helped a lot with moving them under the lights in the wee hours when he got home from work. The boys helped by using such amazing restraint and not yanking them out! Even the baby used his "nice" touch with them.
