Believe it or not, the chives are already up and growing.
I first noticed them coming up on Feb. 10.
I wonder if they come up extra early since I have them planted in a barrel rather than directly in the ground?
I do know that chives are one of the first things up in the garden, but this seems so early for zone 4/5.
I'm not going to complain, though, just curious! I'm just so happy to see something growing.
