Happy Father's Day from our family to yours!  We'll be open our regular hours all weekend; swing out for a pint with Dad! July 14: Food Truck Sunday, 1-5 pm - Hammered Swine BBQ  Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Member News The season has begun!  Farm Members, please refer to your pickup schedules.  In this week's share: Cilantro - The first harvest of fresh Cilantro!  Use it to flavor your Mexican or Asian dishes!   Green Oak Leaf Lettuce - Delicious bright green leaves of spring Oak Leaf Lettuce; an heirloom variety which features leaves shaped like, you guessed it, oak leaves! Green Simpson Lettuce - Simpson lettuce is light green and very delicate.  You'll never see it in a grocery store due to it's delicacy; it's a lettuce that is meant to be enjoyed fresh & local. Great for wilted lettuce salads with warm bacon dressing! Arugula - x 2 - A double-sized bag of arugula!  The arugula harvest this year looks amazing! Large leaves of arugula with a beautiful bright green color.  Radishes - A BIG harvest this week of  "Easter Egg" radishes in a multitude of colors: red, pink, purple, white. The leaves are left attached, and are also edible - try some on a salad, the greens taste similar to the radish root itself. Red Oak Leaf Lettuce - Beautiful light red colored lettuce. Try mixing in several of the greens in this week's share for a beautiful salad of many colors & flavors! Asian Greens Mix - A mix of Mizuna and Red Mustard greens. Packs a bit of a peppery flavor, and is nice mixed onto a salad or very lightly stir-fried. Delicious fresh raw or cooked. Our CSA Program (Community Supported Agriculture) is a membership program in which members become "shareholders" in the farm's seasonal vegetable production & receive a "share" of the farm's organic  produce for our full 22-week-long season!
