New Beer Release!
Join us this weekend as we tap our brand new beer, a Barleywine! Barleywine is a historic style of beer and despite the name, it is not actually a wine at all. Wine is a high alcohol drink produced with fruit. Barleywine is a high alcohol drink produced with barley. What do they have in common? High alcohol content! Thus the name - a barleywine is a style of beer with an alcohol content similar to a wine.
Our Barleywine weighs in at 9% ABV. It's strong flavored, yet definitely a beer. Flavors of barley, toffee, and hops are noticeable, followed by the undeniable flavor of high alcohol content. It all balances out nicely!
Due to the high alcohol content, we're only serving this beer in 6-ounce glasses (no pints). However, you're welcome to purchase some growler fills to take home! At home, you can responsibly share & enjoy as much as you'd like. :)
