Back by popular demand, Honey Wheat! On tap starting this Friday, June 1!  A very mild, easy drinking beer brewed with plenty of malted barley & wheat, and over 20 pounds of real honey per batch. Stop in this weekend for yours! Our farm's organic vegetable crops are growing well! Just a reminder to our farm's CSA Members: the first veggie pickup of the season, for Full Share members & Group A half share members, is in just 1 week!  Mark your calendars for Father's Day, Sunday June 17, 12-5 pm - we're featuring an Ultimate Grill Out & Fry Up with a Food Truck! Beer brats, Grilled Hamburgers & Cheeseburgers, Grilled Butterfly Pork Chop Sandwiches, French Fries, and Fried Wisconsin Cheese Curds! Treat dad to a day at Wishful Acres! Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery - taproom open Fridays 4-9, Saturdays 12-9, Sundays 12-5.   Tap Room Bar at our Brewery In our Tap Room this weekend, open Fridays 4-9 pm, Saturdays 12-9 pm, and Sundays 12-5 pm, we will be pouring fresh from our taps: Honey Wheat - it's back! Barley, wheat, and real honey. Mild & easy drinking! The Emperor - Bourbon barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout, 13.5% ABV, yes growlers too! Smart A** - Belgian Wit style beer Warrior IPA - red session IPA Peach Mango Ale - a sweeter style fruit beer  Clan McKenzie - Scotch Ale (almost gone, stop in Friday if you want to be sure to get the last of it!) Unicorn Tears - unique flavored copper colored ale Homemade Root Beer (non-alcoholic) In addition to fresh beer by the glass, we also have growler fills available for carry-out!   Upcoming Events at Wishful Acres:   Father's Day, Sunday June 17, 12-5 pm - Ultimate Grill Out & Fry Up - grilled beer brats, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pork chop sandwiches, french fries, fried cheese curds. Food Truck!!! July 1 (Sunday) - Independence Day celebration!  More details to come. The EMPEROR Our strongest beer yet - at 13.5% ABV, starting this Friday! Join us Memorial Day weekend as we release our brand new hand crafted beer, "The Emperor", a Russian Imperial Stout that we aged with bourbon & oak!  This beer is thick, black, and strong, with flavors of roasted malts, oak, and molasses. At 13.5 % alcohol, this one is full of strong flavors, and not for the faint of heart!  We made a full sized batch, so there is plenty to go around, and plenty available for carry-out.... so be sure to bring your growler jugs in to take some home! We'll only be serving this in small sized glasses in our taproom, sorry no pints due to the high alcohol content. Father's Day Ultimate Grill Out Food Truck! Bring Dad to our brewery for an Ultimate Grill Out & Fry Up on Father's Day! Sunday, June 17, from 12-5 pm, we'll have a food truck here at Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery! Benchwarmers Bar & Grill of Freeport will be parking their food truck in our outdoor beer garden, and they'll be grilling & frying up a nice menu for all of you! Featuring: - Beer Bratwurst (cooked in Wishful Acres beer!) - Grilled Hamburgers - Grilled Cheeseburgers - Grilled Butterfly Pork Chop Sandwiches - French Fries - Fried Wisconsin Cheese Curds Our homemade craft beers will be on tap, as well as our homemade root beer. All beverages are made right here on site, inside our renovated barn brewery!
