Paint at the Brewery! Hoppiest IPA yet, & more Brew & Farm News!

Do you love the paintings hanging in our brewery?  Want to create your own?! The creator of the artwork, Mia Rudolph, will be instructing a "Brew & Brush" art class here at Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery! Sign up to create your own awesome painting - details below! Have you tried our newest 3-brewery collaboration I.P.A. beer?  We brewed "Swamp Monster" with our friends at Pig Minds Brewing & Generations Brewing, and it's off-the-charts hoppy!  This beer was made with fresh hops harvested right here at our farm!  Try it soon, there is only a limited amount left and it will never be brewed again. Collaboration I.P.A. brewed with 3 breweries: Wishful Acres, Pig Minds, and Generations Belgian Dreams - mild Belgian-style ale brewed with amber honey Apple Ale - mild fruit beer made with apple Galahad - English Mild style of ale, brown & mild flavored.  Alderaan IPA - full of citrus hops! Jack-O-Java - Pumpkin Coffee Spice Ale made with pumpkins grown on our farm Honey Wheat Ale - Mild & very drinkable Homemade Root Beer (non-alcoholic) In addition to fresh beer by the glass, we also have growler fills available for carry-out!   Upcoming Events November 23, 24, 25 - Barrel Aged Beer Release Weekend!  The weekend after Thanksgiving, we'll be tapping the remaining kegs of "Vladimir", our 12% ABV Russian Imperial Stout, which we barrel aged for 6 months in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel! Fri 4-9, Sat 12-9, Sun 12-5! Sunday, December 3, 1:00-3:00 pm -  "Brew & Brush" with local artist Mia Rudolph! Create your own beautiful painting. In this class, you will create a 20" x 20" painting with acrylic on canvas! Mia will guide you through the process of painting this subject, pictured here, of a beautiful colorful winter scene. The canvas, supplies, and door prize are all provided in the cost of your class. About the artist instructing your class: Mia Rudolph is a local artist who works in acrylics, color pencil, and other mediums. She is a full-time school nurse and has 3 children. Mia attended WIU and studied studio art. It is Mia's colorful artwork that we have on display in our taproom here at Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery! Pre-registration for this class is required. Pumpkin - "Amish sugar pie pumpkin" variety, great for cooking with - you can substitute this for any of your winter squash soup recipes Kale - try some kale chips or kale soup! Spicy Asian Greens Mix - last of the year - great in stir fry or raw on salads Arugula - great on Italian foods!
