Goodbye Day Job!, Star Wars party, Hops & Fruit blossoms, and more Brew & Farm News!

Big announcement!!! This is Nate's last week at his "day job"!  Nate, brewer & co-owner, has commuted to Rockford for his full-time job for nearly 15 years.  This week marks the end of his 2-hour daily commute as he says "Goodbye" to his day job!  We are SO THANKFUL to all of our brewery customers for making this possible - we never expected the brewery to become this successful so quickly, and it's all due to you, our wonderful customers!  THANK YOU from us both, Nate & Penny, husband & wife, owners of Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery, for helping our long-held wishes & dreams become a reality!!! Celebrate with us, we'll have complimentary cake in the taproom for our customers on Friday! We have an upcoming celebration at Wishful Acres!!  We'll be open for a special event on Thursday, May 4, from 5-8 pm to celebrate a special Star Wars holiday, "May the Fourth be With You"! If you've visited our brewery, you've seen that Nate is an avid Star Wars fan.  Come celebrate May 4 with us -  the original Star Wars movie will be playing in our brewery!  We'll have specials - all beer pints will be $4, and we'll be putting our brewery's licensed kitchen to use by grilling $4 beer brats (made with our beer, of course, and local meat!!!) and all-beef hot dogs.  Come in a Star Wars costume & receive a FREE Wishful Acres Farm & Brewery magnet!  This free event is family friendly.
