Our new winter Micro-greens labels! We grow year round, did you know?

Now that we've earned the right to display the "USDA Certified Organic" logo, I've updated the labels for our farm's organic micro-greens.  Here they are!

 The micro-greens are a seasonal product offered by our farm, and by seasonal I really mean "off season", or winter!  Did you know we grow year-round here at Wishful Acres Farm?  Yes, 365 days a year.  Did I mention we're located in the really cold area of the Midwestern United States, right along the Illinois / Wisconsin border, where last winter we hit a record low of -37 degrees Fahrenheit?  How do we do it?  By using passive-solar greenhouses (early spring & late fall) and indoor cultivation (winter), in combination with our outdoor fields during the "regular" growing season, we extend the season year round using sustainable methods!
