How to order & pickup your food from Wishful Acres Farm

.
Procedure for ordering & picking up vegetables from Wishful Acres Farm

You've received an email newsletter detailing what we currently have available for purchase, and you want to order. Here's how!

Your vegetables will be picked to order!  How great is that?!!  This means that your vegetables will not be harvested (and washed in our clean, cool well water) until just before you pick them up! You won't get it any fresher!!!  And, did I mention everything, yes everything, is organically grown from start to finish?

How to order: you may email me (Penny) at wishfulacres@gmail.com or call me at 815-990-2380 (simply leave a message if there is no answer and I will return your call).  Let me know what you'd like to order, and what quantity you'd like of each item (for example: 3 pounds peppers, 1 head lettuce).  Then let me know when you'd like to pick up your order.  Since your order will be picked just before your pickup time, please allow me 1 day's notice (for example: order on Friday to pickup on Saturday or later).  Your order will be harvested, washed, bagged, and waiting for you in a cooler on our Farm Store porch.  The Farm Store porch cooler will have your name labeled on the lid, and you simply open the cooler, take out your vegetables, and leave your payment inside the plastic payment box in the cooler.  Payment must be made by check, please no cash or credit cards.  Checks may be made out to "Wishful Acres Farm".

When?  You can pickup your vegetable order anytime!  Since it will be waiting for you in a cooler, I only need an "estimated" arrival time to ensure that your veggies don't sit in the cooler too long.  For example, let's say you want to pickup sometime on "Sunday afternoon".  No problem, I'll have your order picked, washed, bagged, and into the cooler by noon on Sunday.   Want to pickup your order after work on a weekday?  Just let me know which day, and when you leave work, and it will be waiting for you by that time.  It couldn't be easier!!!

Where?  Our farm is located between the cities of Freeport and Lena, Illinois.  If you've never been here before, please let me know and I will provide you with directions when you place your order.  The Farm Store is a yellow mobile home which shares a driveway with our farmhouse.  When you pull into our farm driveway, simply look for the yellow mobile home, that's the Farm Store, and your vegetables will be waiting for you on that porch.

Thanks for supporting our family farm!
