Thank goodness the weather has shifted! The past few days of 70s have been so welcome.
Today I began working through some extra harvest. Chopping, cooking, canning, and freezing. Canning tomatoes, cooking stuffed tomatoes & salsa verde, and a big pot of creamy zucchini soup which will be frozen.
I honestly thought I wouldn't be doing any canning or preserving this year... July was so horribly hot you couldn't have enduced me to do any canning!
