Antique farm equipment in use at Wishful Acres Farm!

Who wants to guess what this piece of farm equipment is? It's about 100 years old, my first piece of antique equipment, and we put it to use a couple days ago.

It worked okay, I think we're going to need to make adjustments & work with it a bit to get comfortable using it.

Guesses? Anyone?

I'll give you a clue... we used it in the garden, pulled behind our riding mower. I'm guessing it was originally pulled by horse.

What do you think it is?

  2. Yes, Caribou, it's a planter. However, it only plants one specific thing.... Guesses, anyone?

  3. Andy says he's never seen something like yours before, but he's guessing it's a potato planter.

  4. Rachel, I do hope to adapt it to use for potatoes, but it's not intended for that. I'll post another picture with the answer soon. :-)
