Fall CSA First Week!

Oops, it's been over a week since I posted to the farm blog! 

Today is the first week for the fall CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shareholder program, and boy are they getting a TON of Certified Naturally Grown vegetables! 

Red leaf lettuce mix
Lettuce heads
Spinach
Baby Radishes
Mustard Greens
Cilantro
Basil
Tomatoes
Cherry Tomatoes
Sweet bell peppers
Arugula
Kohlrabi
Eggplant
Green Onions
Baby summer squash
Tot soi
Gourmet Garlic

All of this with home delivery, for $30 per week.  Now, to anyone who thinks this is not a good value, these are really generous portions (enough to feed a family of 4 all their vegetables for a week).  It would cost at least $50 for all this organic produce if purchased at Whole Foods (and wouldn't taste as good because ours is Super-Fresh!).  I'll try to remember to take a picture when I'm packing all the shares for today's delivery and post it to this blog so you can see it all.
