I have finally figured out a comparison for life in my house. I remember watching documentaries on the Discovery Channel, showing the wild alpha male animals battling for dominance.
That is what life is like in my house with my three young sons. They are at each other all day & night. Pushing, shoving, screaming, fists flying, wrestling, kicking, you name it.
It is like watching wild animals - well I guess we're not much different after all, I certainly can see the resemblance between species here!
