Flowers from the farm garden

 This is the first year I've grown flowers at the farm garden.

I planted a few varieties of zinnia as well as a mixed variety of sunflowers.

It makes me happy when I lift my tired, heat-weary eyes over the field and see the rows of them at the back smiling!  I've been picking them when I remember, bringing them home, and making pretty arrangements for the kitchen & dining room.

Glad the boys seem to be old enough now to leave the vases alone and not dump them off the table!  :-)
