I'm gripping my chest as we speak... I just finished placing all my seed orders and am in the midst of a mild heart attack due to the cost.
And I still don't have a farmer's market "home" for next year. Aaguuuhgghh..... okay. Deep breath....
Alright, so when the hundreds of seed packets, onion plants, potatoes, and supplies arrive, I'll be okay....right?
I mean, they'll all fit into my quarter acre plot, right? Well, I do plan on selling off a lot of tomato, pepper, and eggplant seedlings to others for their own gardens...
And I can always rent a bit more land if I need it...
It will be alright. I hope.
If I plant it, they will buy. And we'll have more to preserve & eat ourselves. It will work out.
Deep breath.
Thanks for visiting the All-Natural Mama blog, home to Wishful Acres Organic Farm!
Ah, yes, all will be well!!! I'm still gearing myself up for the heartbreak! If I may ask, where do you order your seeds from? I have a Seeds of Change catalouge that I'm looking through now. I've never ordered seeds off of the internet. Usually I just plunder through the organic seeds at local stores.

ReplyDeleteYes, breathe!!! It will all work out. It's too bad you aren't closer to us, we have several fabulous farmer's markets (on different days and different locations) But traveling over a hundred miles would sort of defeat the purpose of local food.
